About AUN · Why we built this

The bridge
between the booking
and the first serve.

Built by players who got tired of WhatsApp chaos — and by players who just wanted to play tonight but couldn't find anyone to fill the court. We are not a social network. We are not a booking platform. We are a very specific fix to two very specific problems — and we think that focus is a feature.

01 · Our mission

Every booked court,
played on.

Every player who wants to play should find a match. No club should lose revenue to last-minute cancellations. That's the whole company in one sentence.

AUN exists to eliminate the "one-out nightmare" — that moment when a single cancellation kills an entire game and wastes a perfectly good court, €60, and everyone's Tuesday evening.

And it exists for the other side of the same problem: the player who wants to play tonight, opens every court-booking app, and finds every match already looks full — even though people are out there looking. AUN makes those open slots visible and fillable.

We are not trying to be a feed. We are not trying to be a marketplace. We are a last-mile fix, and we measure ourselves by the courts that didn't go dark.

"No matter who cancels, aún hay partido. There is still a game."

— the origin of the name AUN
AÚN

"Still." "Yet." As in — aún hay partido. There is still a game.

In Spanish, aún is the word you say when you refuse to give up — when the odds are against you but you keep playing. No matter who cancels, aún hay partido. It's not just a name. It's a promise.

02 · The problem

Four to play.
One to kill it.
Or none to find.

Padel needs 4. Pickleball needs 4. Tennis doubles needs 4. Most racket sports are built on the magic number — and life breaks it two ways.

Someone cancels. Suddenly you're left with 3 players, a fully-paid court, 74 WhatsApp messages, and no game. You've already lost the money. Now you're losing the evening.

You want to play. You open every app, every group chat — every court appears full or there's no one you know who's free. The demand is there. The visibility isn't. There had to be a better way.

4 The magic number. Padel, pickleball, tennis doubles — all need exactly four to function.
1 All it takes to cancel the game entirely. One person out. Everyone loses.
74 WhatsApp messages sent to find one replacement, on average, on a Friday night.
€60 Court fee already paid. No refund. No game. No point.
03 · What we stand for

Four principles,
no exceptions.

Every feature we ship gets tested against these. When we say no to something, it's usually because it failed one of them.

01

Privacy first

Your phone number is yours. We don't need it. No strangers get your contact. No WhatsApp groups with people you've never met. Your data never becomes someone else's reach.

02

Zero noise

No open chat means no spam, no scams, no "has anyone seen my keys?". Just clean, purposeful matching. One thing, done well. The absence of clutter is itself a feature.

03

Community trust

Reputation is built through action, not profile photos. Show up. Play well. Build trust. That's it. No gaming the system, no vanity metrics — just the record of someone who shows up.

04

Radical simplicity

Every feature we don't add is a feature. One post. One match. One game saved. Complexity is the enemy of adoption — we measure success in courts played, not screens added.

Clubs

You're tired of being a 24/7 WhatsApp moderator while courts go empty and members get frustrated.

05 · The road ahead

One sport,
then every sport
with a magic number.

We launch with padel at the Padel World Summit — the sport where both sides of the problem hit hardest: courts lost to cancellations, and players who can't find a match because no one makes open slots visible. But we're not stopping there.

Pickleball, tennis doubles, basketball 3v3, football 5-a-side — any sport with a magic number can benefit from AUN. Our vision is simple: a world where "someone cancelled" never means "no game".
